Virtual Support Services (VSS) are a range of remote activities supporting small business owners to get a handle on their administrative tasks and projects. Whilst a lot of activities overlap with work that could be carried out by a Virtual Assistant (VA), the VSS term also covers non-business support for neurodivergent individuals. The VA and VSS industries are booming as more people embrace self-employment and look for ways to balance work and life. For business owners in the wellbeing space, VSS can be a game-changer – taking care of the everyday stuff so you can focus on doing what you love.

Hiring me is a flexible, stress-free way to get expert support without the hassle of hiring employees. With over 25 years of administrative experience, I’ve spent my career supporting business owners and professionals, so I know how to make your life easier. Let me handle time-consuming tasks like admin, social media scheduling, and emails, so you can focus on what you love – whether that’s growing your business, spending time with family, or simply enjoying life. You only pay for the work done, with no added costs or commitments – just more time and freedom for the things that matter most.

I am available to work Monday to Friday inclusive, from 9.30am to 6pm. I do not work public holidays or weekends. Please do not send any work requests through after 4.30pm on Fridays unless it is urgent and we have agreed, in writing, that I am able to complete the work. Please also do not send any same-day work requests through after 5pm Monday to Thursday. I will complete standard work requests within two working days (usually quicker depending on my schedule). Please note, I do not check my work emails, or messages outside of these working hours, but I will respond the next available working day.

Yes, I’m insured with PolicyBee and have Professional Indemnity cover to £100,000.

Yes, I’m registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (reference ZB727111) and you can find my Data Privacy Policy here.

Hiring me is likely to save you money. I’ll handle those time-consuming admin tasks, freeing you up to focus on the more enjoyable and profitable parts of your business. Plus, as an independent contractor, I will save you money on things like National Insurance, pensions, and holiday pay (let alone the savings in tea and biscuits!). It’s an affordable and efficient way to get the support you need!

No. I’m all for flexibility and transparency, so there’s no endless contract to worry about – just a short booking form, including a Data Processing Agreement (if applicable), to outline your package. For most packages, I recommend a minimum commitment of two months to get into a good working rhythm and see real results. If your needs change, simply give me one month’s notice before your next billing date to adjust or end your support. For ad-hoc tasks, I’m happy to help from as little as one hour.

The billing process is dependent on which package you have selected.

If you have selected Ad Hoc work or Projects, then a deposit of 50% of the total cost will be required at the start of the agreement. The balance will be invoiced at the end of the month, with payment due within 7 working days.

For Retainer packages, payment is required in advance and in full. This guarantees you dedicated work time for the allocated number of hours. Hours included in the retainer cannot be rolled over into the next month. I will advise you if you are nearing the end of your agreed hourly total.

Payment is required via bank transfer.
